If you want the best of both worlds, you can convert your automatic feeder into an all-steel gravity feeder with our 3-chute gravity adapter. It’s quick and simple — remove two bolts to take off the cage, four bolts to detach the motor assembly, then use the same four bolts to attach the adapter. The whole process takes about 15 minutes!
Our spin feeder cage is one of our finest engineering achievements. It starts with a 16-gauge sheet metal band around the top, proudly stamped with our logo, and reinforced with wire welded directly to it. The pyramided bottom ensures no feed or water collects inside, while the wire design allows for maximum feed throw and it will keep even the most determined pests out.
A hinged door on the side of the timer, provides quick access to the timer, so you can make adjustments without any disassembly. The cage secures to the feeder with a heavy-duty hook-and-bolt system — strong enough to support over 250lbs (the heaviest person we could find to test). It’s so well built, the same cage design is used across our entire spin feeder line, unchanged and proven in the field.
